Internal Food Safety Auditor is a course that covers the fundamentals of an internal auditor program: quality auditing principles, establishment of food safety and quality criteria, and development and implementation of an effective program. Internal audits are a requirement of all food safety certification standards, such SQF, BRCGS and FSSC 22000. Internal Food Safety Auditor is based on the principles of ISO 19011.

The course is taught in a virtual classroom over two days, with opportunities for interaction with the instructor. The enrollment will be limited in number to allow for student learning.

The course will meet the internal auditor training requirement of a GFSI-bench marketed standard, such as SQF, BRCGS and FSSC 22000. The topics will support businesses that want to improve or initiate their facility’s internal audit program.
